A LETTER FROM OUR FAMILY.
Hi everyone,
We want to talk about something very close to our hearts—Lebanese Heritage Month in Canada. For the 2nd year, this November is officially National Lebanese Heritage month and is being celebrated nationwide by Canadians. But, with the celebration and honouring our rich heritage and culture, we also carry a heavy heart this year with the current conflict back home. We’ve tossed and turned over whether or not to celebrate with our 2nd annual Lebanese Heritage Wrap at Mezza. But we’ve realized it’s important in both the good times and the bad to still celebrate our culture, food, and hospitality—they are essential to who we are as Lebanese.
Food has such an extraordinary power to transcend borders, languages, and backgrounds, and unites us in such an incredible way. So even with adversity back home, from November 1st to November 30th, we will be celebrating and honouring the Lebanese Heritage with the best way we know how—Shawarma!
Join us this month as we showcase how a Chicken Shawarma Wrap is made in Lebanon—with only French Fries, Pickles, Chicken and Garlic!
