    From how we debone Canadian fresh chicken, marinate using our generations-old recipe, and then deliver from our own production center to each location across Canada, where our staff artistically hand-stack each chicken to be cooked and slowly roasted on a vertical open flame rotisserie to then be shaved fresh for each customers meal;

    Using Canadian beef that is halal and spiced with our 1990 family-secret recipe, we follow through with the traditions of how Donairs are intended—made with our proprietary signature sweet donair sauce, freshly diced tomatoes, and white onions on a hot Lebanese- style pita bread

    Our fire-grilled chicken souvlaki, hand-skewered and marinated at our own production center, remains true to its menu inception in 1990, still being served with the same ingredients since it’s launch: Greek Salad with the choice of rice or fries, with 1 or 2 skewers, pita bread, with tzatziki sauce—if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

  • Mezza assists franchisees by providing a comprehensive list of approved suppliers and vendors for various franchise needs, including design, construction, food supplies, and equipment. This allows you to focus on running the business while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and consistency across our brand.

  • Absolutely! Mezza has a custom program in collaboration with the Bank of Montreal, providing franchisees with attractive financing options and competitive rates. We will connect you with a Commercial Relationship Manager at the nearest BMO branch.

  • Active management by franchisees is required for optimal store performance. While franchisees must be actively involved, there is also an option for an Operating Partner who owns a minimum 20% stake in the company to manage the day-to-day operations.

  • You will receive comprehensive training at one of our corporate locations for a minimum of 8 weeks before your store opens. The program equips you with the necessary tools and skills to successfully operate your Mezza franchise. Additionally, our Opening Team will be present at your location for 2 weeks to assist you and your newly hired team in learning the Mezza system.

  • While previous restaurant experience is an asset, it is not a requirement. Our ideal franchisees are passionate about the Mezza brand and possess valuable skills in management, customer service, and coaching.
